Beans and Bacon (recipe)

Ingredients for 
8 sliceBacon diced
14 oz. canned beans in tomato sauce, drained
1 cuponion chopped
1 mediumpepper chopped
1/2 cupsugar packed
1/2 cupketchup
1 teaspoonWorcestershire Sauce
1/4 To 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 cupMild or medium salsa
1 teaspoonmustard prepared

recipe preparation

Cook bacon in frying pan until crispy. Drain well. Turn into 3 1/2 quart slow cooker.

Add remaining 9 ingredients. Stir. Cover. Cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours or on High for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Makes 6 cups. Typed in MMformat by cjhartlin@msn. Com
